PENTAGO MECHANIC
GOOD TOY AWARDS 2007
Pentago, the brilliant abstract strategy game for two players aged 7+, has a new version. It was G.O.T.Y in Sweden and France, and it has now won at the Good Toy Awards here in the UK.
It is brilliantly simple! Take it in turns to place your coloured marbles on a playing board, with the first to get 5 in a row being the winner. The twist is that, every time you place a marble you must turn one of the four playing boards. The board you twist in entirely up to you, but keep an eye on your opposition, as you could turn yourself into trouble......

Pentago comes in three flavours; a classic solid oak version, or a more design led birch version which has a base of birch painted black, and the new plastic polymer version in funky red and white. The 'Mechanic' version has a 'easy-turn' design.
